WHY Grass fINISHED Beef?

  • Grass Finished Beef comes from animals raised on 100% grass.  When cattle  eat pure grass they turn it into important nutrients –  like B vitamins, Vitamin E, anti-inflammatory Omega-3 fatty acids, and cancer-fighting Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) –  that are passed on to you. It is naturally leaner than grain-fed beef. The land nourishes the animal and the animal, in turn, nourishes you. Our cattle are born, raised and grazed on open pastures and are never confined or fed grain, antibiotics or hormones.
  • Less than 1% of beef in the United States is grass-finished. Cattle may be partially grass-fed (all cattle are at some point) but typically finished on genetically modified grains like corn and soy. The grain is not good for the cattle and it’s not good for you.  You are what you ate….ate. To get the most nutrients out of your beef, choose 100% grass-finished.
